Its time for change, its time for a bald man ranting about politics.
The Repelican is a grass roots conservative blog with a local touch for the State of Louisiana. I hope for it to become a strong voice in the young conservative movement. I’m not affiliated with any commercial interest or politician. I’m just a guy who’s sick of it all and tired of keeping quiet.
Louisiana isn’t where I was born but I’ve claimed this wonderful state my home since 1992. I was born on a naval base in South Carolina and lived in Chicago, Ill and Ft Stewart, GA before my family moved to Independence, LA.
I served in the Army for six years after high school as an Information Systems Specialist. The Army sent me to Ft Polk, South Korea, and Ft Bragg. I opted to make a career in the civilian world but the military gave me the ability to be sucessful. I never regret serving and still salute those who have served and currently serve.
After my enlistment I moved to Baton Rouge and continued to work in the IT field. I met my wife who is a school teacher and a New Orleans native. The two of us have been living in New Orleans since our wedding in 2007 and have been blessed recently with a healthy baby boy.
