               I’m just a guy with a blog and an opinion. If you don’t like it, don’t visit my site. Last time I checked, it’s a free country so far and I can say whatever I want under protections given to me by the 1st Amendment.Â

Why are most of the articles about Louisiana?
               I live here and I am writing to our interests as well as national issues.
Why do you hate New Orleans so much?
               I don’t hate the city; I hate what it’s become.   The city is a big part of my heritage and culture as  much as many people here. The problem is that liberal Democrats have turned New Orleans into a welfare cesspool over the past few decades. The only way that NOLA will survive is if it becomes a more business friendly environment instead of trying to tax everyone to death and spread the wealth. The city needs to diversify its economy from just being a tourist city and attract companies that will create jobs.
What does “Repelican” mean?
               It’s a combination of pelican, the state bird of Louisiana, and Republican. I’m not affiliated with the GOP, local or national, but I’ve been a registered Republican since 1997.
