Yesterday, terrorists hit several hotels in Mumbai, India in search of American and British nationals. These hotels are popular tourist attractions in India’s largest city. As of the time of this writing, Indian officials are seeking out the terrorists and trying to restore order. Indian commandos are in the process of rescuing hostages.
It was a well orchestrated attack with several targets done nearly at the same time to create chaos. Hot Air’s Allahpundit has been doing an excellent job keeping up with the events here so I won’t go into detail.
What gets me about this ordeal is that some al-Qaeda front group is going after Americans and Britions because the’re too chicken to come here again. I don’t know if they’re waiting for Obama to officially take office but they know they would be caught before they could even think about terrorizing our citizens on our own soil. These people know they are nearly defeated so they are desperate.
I hope that India is able to round up these cowards and bring them to justice, even if it comes from the barrel of a gun.< -->
